Association for Gravestone Studies
Fall Meeting
November 19, 2016
Tuscumbia, AL

At 9 a.m. we will meet at an arranged point to begin a day of cemetery touring in Colbert County around the Tuscumbia area.

Colbert County is in Northwest Alabama.  Once home to Native American groups, it is named in honor of brothers George and Levi Colbert, Chickasaw Indian chiefs.

This is our first AGS meeting in the northwestern part of the state.  We will visit the unique National Coon Dog Cemetery and other interesting local cemeteries.
