2026 Conference Host College

Come join AGS in Michigan!  This year's conference is being hosted by Dr. Kara Van Dam of Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.  Located just twelve miles west of Grand Rapids on Highway 46, GVSU is a convienent location for anyone flying or driving to the Great Lakes State.  Consider adding some vacation time as you make your AGS travel plans.  So whether you're from Michigan, California, Rhode Island, Australia, England, or anywhere else - start making your plans to join AGS in Michigan, June 23-28, 2026.

AGS's 2026 Conference will be headquartered in Glenn A. Niemeyer Living and Learning Center at 4046 Calder Drive.  This three-story, airconditioned facility will be the location of our on campus housing, all breakfasts and lunches, presentations, posters, hands-on sessions, Late Night, and casual hangouts.  Registration will be on the first floor and there are multiple elevators providing access to the upper stories.  Neimeyer includes four classrooms, a computer lab, a recreational room, reading rooms, community rooms with fireplaces, laundry facilities, and wireless internet access.  Conference parking will be in a Lot M located just across Calder Drive.  On Wednesday and Saturday the busses will depart and return to the circle drive in front of Niemeyer Hall.

On-Campus Housing

Attendees will be housed in Niemeyer Hall, home of Grand Valley State University’s Honors College, where the accommodations are a significant step above the traditional residence hall experience. Guests will stay in thoughtfully designed two-bedroom/one-bath or four-bedroom/two-bath suites that offer both comfort and privacy, along with full kitchens—complete with full-sized refrigerators—for added convenience. Each suite also includes inviting common areas with living and dining room furnishings, creating a space that feels more like a modern apartment than a dorm. These upgraded accommodations provide a relaxed, community-oriented environment where you can unwind, connect with colleagues, and truly feel at home during your time at AGS 2026.
