AGS 2026 Conference Registration Rates & FAQs

AGS is proud that our 2026 conference rates will remain the same as before.  All registrations must include payment in full by the applicable deadline.  The last day to register without a late fee is May 8, 2026.  In person late registration goes through May 15th and is an additional $100.00 fee.  The last day to cancel and receive a full refund for full on campus, full off campus, guest, and day-by-day registration is May 15, 2026.  The last day for on time virtual registration is June 10, 2026, late virtual registration goes through June 17th.  If any in person attendee needs to cancel after May 15th, we cannot provide a refund.  However, we will mail your packet (and any t-shirt and tote purchases) and transfer you, at no additional cost, to virtual registration.

• Full on campus registration includes a private bedroom, all meals, and all activities and sessions from 1:00 PM Tuesday through 11:00 AM Sunday.  We will be in an airconditioned student dormitory with 2-bedroom and 4-bedroom suites with one shared bath per two bedrooms.  Each suite has a central common space and full kitchen.  This year's linen package will include a standard pillow, a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, a pillowcase, a blanket, a washcloth, hand towel, and a bath towel.  We will strive to place all married couples in a suite of their own.
• On campus guest registration includes a private bedroom in a 2-bedroom or 4-bedroom suite and all meals (including reception and awards dinner), but no activities such as sessions or cemetery tours.
• Full off campus registration includes all meals, activities, and sessions from 1:00 PM Tuesday through 11:00 AM Sunday.
• Day-by-day registration includes all meals and activities for that particular day (but not the Preservation Workshop on Friday).
• Preservation Workshop Only registration is for non-regular conference attendees who would like to participate in this basic level 1 ½ day workshop. Spots will be limited and a waitlist put in place. The Preservation Workshop location will be Maplewood Cemetery.  Again, this is a basic conservation course with equal focus on planning, managagement, and conservation.  Thursday is a 1/2 day workshop on campus in a lecture hall.  Friday is an all-day workshop in a cemetery with a provided boxed lunch and waters.  This is not an advanced skills workshop.  
• Virtual Registration is for those who cannot attend in person.  We will broadcast live via ZOOM as many sessions on Thursday and Friday including workshops and roundtables as possible.  Access to othersessions will be provided as possible. New for 2026 - Each day following the recordings, we will provide YouTube links virtual registrants to watch at their convienence.  See the detailed schedule for sessions to be available live via ZOOM and recorded.
• Don’t forget to order your t-shirt and tote. Each year the conference apparel becomes an instant classic. We encourage participants to wear their conference T-shirts throughout the week!  New this year - hats will be an option for in person attendees. 
  • The t-shirts will be a soft cotton blend in a heather royal blue color with the primary logo
  • The totes will be black cotton with white printing with the secondary logo
  • The "trucker" hats - see this link for images of the Richardson Trucker Hat - will use the ROYAL color, not orange.  Verdict is still out on which logo will work best.  Remember, hats are for in person orders only.
