The Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS) promotes the academic study of gravemarkers, cemeteries and related topics internationally through an annual conference and its peer-reviewed journal Markers.

Its annual conference invites entries for its Student Conference Scholarship, open to post-grad or undergraduate students at any university worldwide.

The winner will present his or her paper during the Virtual Conference, and in addition will receive free registration for the whole conference, free student membership of AGS for the following year, and a cash prize of US$200.

The Association reserves the right to award more than one scholarship, or to make no award, as circumstances permit.
