The AGS Chapters provide an opportunity for people to participate in AGS events throughout the year. Chapter events are modeled after activities at the annual conference: cemetery tours, specialist talks, preservation workshops, etc. For AGS members who cannot attend the annual conference or who just cannot get enough of gravestone studies, chapters are a perfect way to stay in touch, keep up-to-date, and spread the word about cemetery preservation, interpretation, research, and scholarship.
